Well, I'm Matt
An Landscape Photographer who loves to be in the heart of the wilds.
I am based in the New Forest National Park on the South Coast of the UK and have the luxury of having some of the most beautiful locations in the country on my doorstep.
As I am originally from South Manchester, I find myself in awe of where I live.
My photography journey began when I was 10, and I started using 35mm film cameras, which eventually led me to move on to SLRs and digital systems today.
My camera of choice varies from year to year. Still, I am not someone who will go out and buy the most expensive camera just because it is packed with the latest technology. I prefer a more laid-back approach and honestly believe that it is not just the camera that makes the image, but it is mainly the person behind it and, although I am a huge fan of Fuji Cameras, you will rarely see me with a camera that is newer than 5 years old.
I have been fortunate to have won awards, and I have worked with some high-profile names throughout my journey, but I much prefer shooting without the pressure and letting nature take control of my work.
Away from my photography, I am a husband to my beautiful wife, Olivia, a stepdad to two amazing girls, Ella and Freya, and a Dog Dad to our rescue dog, Suzy.
I also work full-time as a Health and Safety Advisor.
